About Driver’s Education (DE)

Learn how to drive your Porsche the way it’s meant to be driven

A Fun and Challenging Test of Your Driving Skills

At our Driver’s Education (DE) events, you get the benefit of having an experienced instructor teach you the track and how to drive your car properly and safely.

Participating in a DE event will allow you to acquire the knowledge and develop the skills needed to drive safely at a high rate of speed. The goal is to have safe, high- speed fun. It’s a great way to learn how well your car, and you, can really perform.

When you participate in DEs, you become a different, better and safer driver.

DE is a Safe, Structured, and Fun Learning Environment

The PCA DE Program is designed so that participants can improve their driving abilities and acquire a better understanding of vehicle dynamics and driving safety.

You will drive in a run group of similarly skilled drivers and an instructor will be assigned to guide you through the entire process

You develop a set of skills and reflexes that are useable in your daily driving on city streets, country roads, and highways. It is the type of experience that is invaluable for any driver.

Here is a link to a great article from PCA’s Panorama magazine on Driver’s Education. Article here.

Due to a lack of tracks in the CHS vicinity, we team up with Potomac PCA and other Regions in Zone 2 for these events. Also check out the PCA website at www.pca.org/driver-education
