We would like you to consider sponsoring a BACKPACK today!!!
LINDA’S LEGACY BACKPACKS: $25 sponsors one backpack filled with a sweatshirt, thermal underwear, warm socks, gloves and a hat. The backpacks are distributed on Christmas Eve to homeless men, women and children in Baltimore, DC and Anne Arundel County. You can sponsor as many backpacks as you’d like (the more the merrier, and warmer!). Additionally if have any gently used, warm (and thick down) winter coats you no longer need, please consider bringing them to the Kinder Time Toy Drive. Kids and adult sizes are needed. These are also distributed on Christmas Eve along with the backpacks.
Last year we had over 4 dozen volunteers club members to pitch in, unbox, and pack, and sponsor over 600 backpacks. Collectively the membership raised over $15,000!!!
