Chesapeake Region member Lee Raskin will be presenting at the 356 Registry’s 2019 Boardwalk Reunion ‘Tech Session’ at Ocean City, New Jersey on Saturday, October 19th at noon at the Music Pier Auditorium.
His topic will be: James Dean and his legendary 356 Speedster — VIN 80126.
The title of the presentation is: A Tale of Two Speedsters.
Lee will make public for the very first time the bizarre history of VIN 80126 … as it passed through many owners and racers during the 1950’s and ’60s … before winding up in Europe, as an unknown and rusted-out 356 Speedster for several decades.
So today, there are separate claims that two or possibly three #80126 Speedsters exist. Which one is the real deal?
