DESCRIPTION:  \nAutocross consists of navigating your car faster than your competition through a course delineated by soft orange traffic cones which will not damage your car. Events are run at speeds typically between 25-70 MPH\, usually in 2nd gear. Autocross is a performance driving event emphasizing your car’s handling and is an exciting way to experience driving your car at its limit. You not only learn how to handle your car at speeds that you drive daily\, but you also: \n\nGain confidence in your driving ability\nLearn the limits of your car’s brakes\nLearn correct seating\, hand\, and feet positions for optimum car control\nLearn the limits of your car’s handling\n\nNote\, too\, that Autocross is a social gathering of new and old friends and an opportunity to have lots of adrenaline-pumping fun! \nEntry Details (all makes and models are welcome) \n\nDate: Saturday June 27\, 2026\nEntry Fee:\n\nPCA Member Pre-registration Entry fee: $60\nNon-PCA Member Pre-registration Entry fee: $70\nFor those who are interested in autocross\, but unsure if they want to try it (or just plain curious)\, we offer a “Taste of Autocross.” For $5\, you will have the opportunity to ride with our instructors for several runs and experience the thrill!\n\n\nMSR Registration will be capped at 80 drivers. SUMMARY:Ladew Topiary Gardens Tour
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nJoin the Tour & Rally Committee for an unforgettable drive ending at the Ladew Topiary Gardens. A destination noted as one of “Ten incredible topiary gardens around the world” by Architectural Digest and “The most outstanding topiary garden in America” by the Garden Club of America.  All this in our own backyard so to speak!! \nThe history of the gardens is described on their website: History — LADEW TOPIARY GARDENS \nWe will start in Phoenix\, MD (location to be provided) for an approximate 54 mile drive through scenic parts of Baltimore and Harford counties.   You can bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy at the gardens.  We will begin to arrive at Ladew Topiary Gardens by 10:15am\, which will provide ample time to have lunch (in the garden cafe or a picnic lunch you bring)\, enjoy the manor tour\, and tour the incredible gardens. \nA few details about admission and lunch at the gardens – \n\nThe admission for the gardens is $22 for each adult (seniors $18)\, children are discounted.\nAdmission tickets can be purchased online in advance at a discount or at the door.\nThe manor tours ($7) are 10:30-3pm on the half hour and are available on a first come first served basis (available for purchase at the door only).\nThe Ladew Café (open from 9am – 5pm) is only available for guests with admission tickets.\n\nWHEN and WHERE \n\nWhen: Sunday\, June 28\, 2026\, 8:00am\nWhere: The Phoenix MD\, address will be sent to confirmed registrants by 6pm\, June 26\, 2026\nParticipant’s Meeting: 8:15 am\nDeparture: First cars off at 8:30 am\nDestination: Ladew Topiary Gardens\, 3535 Jarrettsville Pike\, Monkton\, MD 21111\nDistance: 54 miles\nETA: Approximately 90 minutes\n\nPARTICIPATION \nBy signing up for and joining any of our driving events\, registrants acknowledge and assume all the risks in and full responsibility for their participation. PCA waiver forms must be completed and signed by all\, online or on paper (color only). Note that planned events are subject to change\, for weather-related or other reasons. \nREGISTRATION \nRegistration is open now and will end on June 24 at 1:00 pm. \n\n$5 registration fee per adult; maximum fee $10 per car.\nNo registration fee for minors (17 and younger).\nMotorsportReg charges a $2 service fee per registration (not for every person).\nPCA members and their guests must be registered and confirmed to join this event.\nDrivers must be adult (18 and older) PCA members with a valid driver’s license.\nRoute instructions\, and other documents will be sent to confirmed registrants via email by 6:00 pm on June 26.\nAll PCA members and their family are welcome.\nParking at the gardens is on grass (easily accessible). Limited parking on their gravel lot.\nYou will be responsible for the cost of your own admission tickets to the gardens and lunch.
