SUMMARY:Tech Tactics East
DESCRIPTION:Tech Tactics is a day dedicated to Porsche technical information. This event is for all Porsche enthusiasts\, from casual information gatherers to everyday Porsche mechanics. Get the latest news directly from the source. Topics range from balancing carburetors to understanding how the new hybrid systems work. \nThe event was born in 1980 in the heart of Zone One at the Harley Hotel north of Hartford\, CT. It quickly outgrew the facility and moved to the Springfield Sheraton\, where it resided for over twenty years.  By the 1990s\, it was the premier technical weekend for PCA\, featuring renowned speakers such as Norbert Singer\, Phil Hill\, Derek Bell\, and Brian Redman. \nBy 2007\, attendance was dwindling\, and a new venue was in order. The event was moved to the Farnbacher-Loles facility in Danbury\, CT. The move regenerated interest in the event\, with over 250 attendees. With the demise of the F-L facility\, we moved again and slightly changed direction in terms of format. \nIn 2011\, Tech Tactics became a PCA National Event and was hosted at the PCNA Training facility in Easton\, PA. Later that year\, PCA hosted the West Coast version in the same type of facility. This facility has been the perfect home for this “hands-on “type of event. This facility is used to train Porsche technicians on the intricacies of new Porsches and to provide valuable training on Porsches of the past. It is equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms with lifts and drivetrain assemblies\, which will be available for our event. In 2025\, the facility expanded its technical classroom footprint\, adding additional space for Porsche Classic training. We are excited to once again host Tech Tactics East at the Porsche Training Facility in February 2026. \nTech Tactics East is limited to 125 entrants per day. The day consists of lectures by PCNA Field Specialists\, PAG Project Managers\, members of the PCA Technical Committee\, and representatives from other companies\, including Michelin\, LN Engineering\, Total Seal\, and Griots Garage. \nBack for an eleventh year: Tech Tactics Die-cast Model Concours! This is a People’s Choice event\, with the winner receiving a special prize! Dust off your favorite die-cast model (in any scale)\, polish the wheels\, and bring it to the event for display. Please\, only one model per entrant. \nAll attendees must be pre-registered. There will be NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. \n*Must be a PCA Member to attend. To join PCA or renew your membership\, please visit www.pca.org. \nIf you have any questions\, please don’t hesitate to contact Manny Alban at 410-381-0911 or mannya@pca.org. \nEVENT LOCATION: \nPorsche Training Facility\n170 Commerce Lane\nEaston\, PA 18045 \nREGISTRATION OPENS: Wednesday\, January 7\, 2026\, at 12:00 PM ET\nCOST:  $90.00 per person (per day) \nSATURDAY\, 2/21/26 – REGISTRATION LINK\nSUNDAY\, 2/22/26 – REGISTRATION LINK \n  \nContact Name: Manny Alban

SUMMARY:2026 After Holiday Party
DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the end of 2025 and welcome in 2026! \nJoin us at the Turn House on Saturday\, January 17th for our annual After Holiday Party\, followed by the highly anticipated Yankee Swap conducted by “The Bob and Manny Show\,” with your hosts\, Bob Gutjahr and Manny Alban! \nThe Chesapeake Region has established a reputation for the finest and fiercest Yankee Swap in PCA\, one that has been copied by other regions\, but never quite duplicated. A “Gift Exchange” is merely a mild description of the feeding frenzy that takes hold at this triple steal event. Chesapeake Region\, despite being below the Mason Dixon Line\, puts the “Yankee” into Yankee Swap…. The good stuff is coveted\, hoarded and only grudgingly given up under duress. \nThis event regularly sells out quickly-so\, register early!\nEvent Details \nDate: Saturday\, January 17\, 2026 \nSchedule: \n\n5:30 PM – 6:30PM Cocktails & hors d’oeuvres\n6:30 PM Dinner\n7:15 PM Break\n7:30 PM Yankee Swap\n9:30 PM Event concludes\n\nLocation: \nThe Turn House\, located in Hobbit’s Glen Gulf Club \n11130 Willow Bottom Drive\, Columbia\, MD 21044 \nWebsite: https://theturnhouse.com/ \nCost:  $65/person \nREGISTRATION: Is open now – CLOSES at midnight on December 31st \n\nAttendance is capped at 75 people. Washington Pediatric Hospital will be a recipient of the toys and other suitable donations.  A list of age-appropriate and acceptable items can be found at https://www.mwph.org/giving/ways/wish-list \nThen on Saturday\, December 6th\, with thanks to our good friends at Porsche Hunt Valley\, we will meet at their showroom to assemble the backpacks and bring our gifts of new\, unwrapped toys for the Mt. Lunch seating will be reserved for the first 40 people who register for the lunch segment. Anyone after that will be put on the waiting list and may not be guaranteed seating with the group. Everyone pays their own way at lunch. \nAbout Linda’s Legacy \n$25 sponsors one backpack filled with warm clothing and other necessities to people in need in our community in a responsible and respectful manner. \nLinda’s Legacy is a recognized 501(c)(3) charity. For more information\, and to make a donation to help us towards our goal of sponsoring 250 backpacks please visit their website at https://www.homelessdrive.org/ When making a donation\, please be sure to select “Porsche Club” from the organizational drop-down list! \nAbout Mt Washington Pediatric Hospital Wish List Toy Drive \nPlease bring a new\, unwrapped toy for the Kindertime toy drive \nKindertime is a toy drive that collects toys and distributes them to sick and less fortunate children around the local Baltimore area. Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital will be a recipient of the toys and other suitable donations. \nMore than 8\,500 children come through Mt. SUMMARY:Allegheny Mountains Fall Colors Tour
DESCRIPTION:Allegheny Mountains Fall Color Tour \nPCA-CHS 2025 Tour & Rally Event No. 14 – Saturday\, October 11th \nREGISTER HERE \nJoin us on Saturday\, October 11th\, as PCA Chesapeake conducts its 14th  tour of the season developed by our guest tour master\, Ron Farb\, where we will return to the Alleghany Mountains. The tour begins in Middletown\, MD\, and quickly makes its way north to the MD/PA border. We then skirt the border as we head west towards Hancock\, MD\, and our rest stop. After the break\, we hop back on some fantastic roads along with great scenery as we travel north through the Alleghany Mountains and then we will drive  south on the amazing PA-26. Our destination will be at the Locust Post Brewery for an optional lunch. \nThe optional lunch will be at the locally owned Locust Post Brewery. This brewery was recently built by Tony & Denise Cromwell on their 26-acre farmstead\, and their home is literally walking distance to it. They have been extremely accommodating and will have a reserved section of parking for us on the grass. They serve bar food for lunch including pizza\, taquitos\, and chicken bites. \nFor more on the Locust Post Brewery\, see their website; https://locustpostbrewery.com/. \nGiven their limited pizza ovens and the normal crowds\, they get on a Saturday\, Locust Post Brewery would like for us to give them an idea of how many pizzas we want so that they can bake a few before we arrive and have them ready. Therefore\, if you think you will order the pizza\, please indicate so when you sign up on MSR. You are not obligated to buy a pizza even if you check the box. You will not be charged for the pizza when you register\, rather this is so they can prepare for us. You can order a different pizza or something else from their menu when you arrive\, as well as pay for your pre-ordered pizza. \nUpon leaving the brewery\, your GPS will have you take a right on National Pike to get back to I-68. However\, take a left instead and drive about a mile to the Town Hill overlook on your left. There is parking and the view is spectacular! P.S. The Town Hill Bed & Breakfast across the street is supposed to be excellent if you want to spend the night in this area. \n  \nWHEN and WHERE \n\nWhen: Saturday\, Oct 11th\, 9:00 am  \nWhere: The Middletown\, MD address will be sent to confirmed registrants by October 10th   \nAssembly Time: 8:30 am\nParticipant’s Meeting: 8:45 am\nDeparture: First cars off at 9:00 am\nDriving time and distance: approximately 2 hours and 68 miles for stage 1 and 50 miles and 1 hour for stage two.
