SUMMARY:Linda’s Legacy & Kindertime Toy Drive & Lunch Tour
DESCRIPTION:LINDA’s LEGACY & KINDERTIME TOY DRIVE & LUNCH TOUR\nPCA-Chesapeake Region  \nREGISTER HERE\n This is a 3-in-1 event! Community Service\, Tour\, & Lunch Social! \nWe are happy to partner with our friends at Linda’s Legacy and Kindertime Toy Drive again this year! \nWe are collecting donations to sponsor backpacks to provide those in need in Anne Arundel\, Baltimore County\, and Baltimore with hats\, mittens\, scarves\, thermal underwear and socks (see below for how to make a donation). Last year our region and its members sponsored over 200 backpacks! Lets make it 250 this year! The Chesapeake Region is kicking off the fundraiser by sponsoring 40 backpacks! \nMt. Washington Pediatric Hospital will be a recipient of the toys and other suitable donations.  A list of age-appropriate and acceptable items can be found at https://www.mwph.org/giving/ways/wish-list \nThen on Saturday\, December 6th\, with thanks to our good friends at Porsche Hunt Valley\, we will meet at their showroom to assemble the backpacks and bring our gifts of new\, unwrapped toys for the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital Wish List donation. \nAfterwards we will be treated to a driving Tour through the back roads of Baltimore County followed by lunch at the StoneBridge Grille in Parkton. Lunch seating will be reserved for the first 40 people who register for the lunch segment. Anyone after that will be put on the waiting list and may not be guaranteed seating with the group. Everyone pays their own way at lunch. \nAbout Linda’s Legacy \n$25 sponsors one backpack filled with warm clothing and other necessities to people in need in our community in a responsible and respectful manner. \nLinda’s Legacy is a recognized 501(c)(3) charity. For more information\, and to make a donation to help us towards our goal of sponsoring 250 backpacks please visit their website at https://www.homelessdrive.org/ When making a donation\, please be sure to select “Porsche Club” from the organizational drop-down list! \nAbout Mt Washington Pediatric Hospital Wish List Toy Drive \nPlease bring a new\, unwrapped toy for the Kindertime toy drive \nKindertime is a toy drive that collects toys and distributes them to sick and less fortunate children around the local Baltimore area. Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital will be a recipient of the toys and other suitable donations. \nMore than 8\,500 children come through Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital’s (MWPH) doors each year and receive family-focused\, coordinated care. And for over 100 years\, MWPH has been able to provide the high quality care that our families deserve\, regardless of their ability to pay\, because of your support. \nYour gift to MWPH is an investment in the future and well-being of children who come to us to heal and grow. \nMt. Washington Pediatric Hospital welcomes donations of new toys\, arts and crafts supplies\, and video games that will provide entertainment and comfort to their young patients. Visit their website at https://www.mwph.org/giving/ways/wish-list \nAbout the Tour & Lunch \nThe drivers’ meeting will begin at 10:15\, and the first group of cars will be launched by 10:30. The tour route will be about 55 miles long and will take about 90 minutes to drive. All the cars should reach the lunch destination\, StoneBridge Grille in Parkton\, by about 12 noon. Lunch goers will be able to choose their food from a specially selected menu. Each couple or individual will be billed separately. \nRegistrants wishing to join the lunch should fill in the number of participants in their party in the “Attending the Lunch Social” segment. \nAll tour participants must sign a Waiver. \nEvent Details \n\nDate & Time: December 6\, 2025 @ 8:00AM\nLocation: Porsche Hunt Valley\, 10260 York Road\, Cockeysville\, MD 21030\nWhat do I bring? A new\, unwrapped toy. SUMMARY:Weekday Wander #5 - The Waffle Wander Tour
DESCRIPTION:PCA-CHS 2026 Tour & Rally Event No. 8 – Wednesday\, June 10th \nClick Here to Register\nMy intent with the Weekday Wander tours is to allow us to explore routes and destinations that are not always possible to do with a regular tour of 40 or so cars. This trip to Waffle House epitomizes the concept. We will drive across the better roads of Carroll\, Baltimore\, and Harford counties and end at the Waffle House where we can enjoy “Southern Hibachi.” \nWhy Waffle House? I have been a long-term fan of Waffle House from years of road trips\, as it became a special treat. The Weekday Wander format is the perfect way to enjoy a terrific drive and an All Star Special. Besides\, everyone needs to experience the restaurant FEMA uses to evaluate exactly how bad a disaster is\, and where the employees are world-renowned for their toughness. \nWe look forward to seeing you on this tour but register soon\, as there is a very limited capacity for this tour. \nWHEN and WHERE \n\nWhen: Wednesday\, June 10th\, at 9:30 am\nAssembly Point: The Westminster\, MD\, address will be sent to confirmed registrants by June 9th.\nParticipant’s Meeting: 9:45 am\nDeparture: First cars off approximately 10:00 am.\nDestination: Waffle House\, 1500 Conowingo Rd\, Bel Air\, MD 21014\nDistance: Approximately 55 miles\nETA: Approximately 90 minutes\n\n PARTICIPATION \nBy signing up for and joining any of our driving events\, registrants acknowledge and assume all the risks in and full responsibility for their participation.
