SUMMARY:Woods\, Wine and Wheels - Off Road Tour
DESCRIPTION:PCA-CHS 2026 Tour & Rally Event No. 12 – Sunday\, September 6th \nClick Here to Register\nJoin the Chesapeake Region for an off-road drive around the Frederick City Watershed. While most of our tours are road focused\, this light off-road tour meanders through gorgeous hills\, tall green trees\, feathery ferns\, clear streams\, impressive rock formations\, wildlife in the Frederick Municipal Forest. \nThe tour starts and ends at Springfield Manor Winery\, Brewery and Distillery in Thurmont\, MD. The theme of the tour is driving at safe off-road speeds\, enjoying the outdoor scenery and experiencing the Porsche Cayenne and Macan off-road ability. The four-door Porsche SUVs also provide opportunities to bring more passengers. \nWe have visited this area in the past and it has always been a great off-road drive and fun time at the winery after. The bumpy gravel roads are ideal for keeping our Porsche SUVs safe and scratch-free\, while still adventuring where no (non-safari) 911 would dare. \nWHEN and WHERE  \n\nAssembly Point: The Thurmont\, MD address will be sent to confirmed registrants by September 5th\nWhen: Sunday\, September 6th\, at 10:30 AM\nDriver’s Meeting: 10:45 AM\nDeparture: First cars off at 11:00 AM\nDestination: Springfield Manor Winery\, Brewery and Distillery\, 11836 Auburn Rd\, Thurmont 21788\nDistance: Approximately 25 miles\nDrive ETA: Approximately 60 minutes\n\nPARTICIPATION  \nBy signing up for and joining any of our driving events\, registrants acknowledge and assume all the risks in and full responsibility for their participation. PCA waiver forms must be completed and signed by all\, online or on paper. Note that planned events are subject to change\, for weather-related or other reasons. \nREGISTRATION \n\nLog on to your MotorsportReg account at https://msreg.com/PCACHSOffRoad2026.\nRegistration is open now and will close at 1 PM on September 1st.\nPCA members and their guests must be registered and confirmed to join this event.\nAll PCA members are invited to attend.\nDrivers must be adult PCA members with a valid driver’s license.\nFee $5 per adult; maximum fee $10 per car; minors (17 and younger) free.\nMotorsportReg charges a $2 booking fee for every registration (not for every person).\nRoute instructions and other documents will be sent to confirmed registrants via e-mail by 6:00 pm on September 5th. If you have not received the documents by then\, please email tour@pcachs.org.\nThis event has capacity limits for cars and people.\nNon-Porsche vehicles can participate in this event.
