| AS YOU KNOW THE CHESAPEAKE CHALLENGE IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT…HOWEVER SAFETY IS ALWAYS OUR UTMOST CONCERN. IT IS FOR THIS REASON WE HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO POSTPONE.
WE HAVE POSTPONED THE CHESAPEAKE CHALLENGE THE NEW DATE IS NOVEMBER 10, 2018
If you are new to the region, or have yet to attend any events…  The Chesapeake Region invites all PCA members to attend the 49th Chesapeake Challenge, the oldest running PCA multi-event day. This year we are going to the Maryland Yacht Club in Pasadena, MD. The Yacht Club is situated on over eight acres of beautiful waterfront property providing an incredible backdrop for all the gorgeous Porsches in attendance. Saturday will open with a Concours d’Elegance consisting of Touring (judging of interior, exterior, engine and storage) and Street-Prepared categories (interior and exterior). Classes for both categories will be based on entries. In addition to class awards, there will be awards for Best of Street Class and Best of Concours/Touring Group. Both the Street and Touring Categories will be eligible for People’s Choice Award. The Maryland Yacht Club is a bit secluded and the closest restaurants are at least 10 minutes away, the yacht club will offer a lunch buffet (advanced registration and purchase is required), or if you choose, you may have lunch on your own. Shortly after lunch, a Gimmick Rally will leave from the yacht club leading you through the beautiful countryside. Later in the afternoon a Tech Quiz will take place at the yacht club with the final event of the weekend being an Awards Dinner Buffet. This will be a Saturday not to miss!! So come and join us for an event filled day of Porsches and People. All of your favorite cars and friends will be there, and so should you!
Space is limited Registration will close without exception at MIDNIGHT on October 21, 2018 Your registration fee of $25 is good for 1 CAR and 3 events for 2 people. When registering for the event please be sure to review all the options offered and be sure to select at least 2 of 3 events offered. IF YOU WANT TO WIN THE COVETED KNOWLTON P. LONG MEMORIAL-“LUFTHANSA” AWARD YOU MUST ENTER ALL 3 EVENTS (Concours – Full Category Only, Rally, Tech Quiz)!! CAN YOU BRING IT??? If you wish to purchase lunch and/or dinner, it must be done during the registration process. Lastly, if you would like to purchase t-shirts, please do so when registering.
