Cost:  The one-time cost for the PCA License Plates is $35.00, which includes the $25.00 MVA fee and a $10 Chesapeake PCA fundraising fee to support the PCA License Plate Program and Chesapeake Region events.

How To Apply:  The only way to apply for PCA Organizational License Plates is to complete the online PCA Maryland License Form below and submit it electronically.  We will receive your form via web mail and send you the required MVA Application-Certification Form For Organizational License Plates via USPS to complete and return with checks in a self-addressed envelope.  The MVA form is a two-part State form, which requires the signature of owner and co-owner (if any).  MVA will mail the license plates to you via USPS, along with Part 2 of the form.

Eligibility Requirements:  Current PCA members who reside in Maryland and have a current Maryland drivers license are eligible to apply for PCA License Plates.  MVA will not process requests for PCA License Plates unless the paperwork is complete, endorsed by PCA and checks attached.  MVA will only process applications sent to MVA by the PCA/MVA Liaison.

Please Note:  You must have a current two-year Maryland registration on your vehicle.  Temporary Maryland Registrations and Historic and Vintage Registrations do not meet the MVA requirements for PCA License Plates.  If you have historic or vintage Maryland license plates on the vehicle, this is a different registration classification.  You must obtain a current Maryland safety inspection certificate and a two-year registration before applying for PCA License Plates.

The process to obtain PCA License Plates can take up to four weeks depending on MVA’s workload.  If you have any questions regarding the purchase of PCA Maryland Organizational License Plates, please contact us at:  pcaLicensePlates@pcachs.org.  Safe and Happy Motoring.
